The current membership of the choir numbers over 100 singers in 4 voices - Soprano, Contralto, Tenor and Bass. Membership is open, without audition, to all who enjoy singing and new members, especially tenors, are always welcome. The current subscription is £55= per year.

We sing carols on the Minster green every year in aid of ‘Save the Children’. We also have a ‘garden party’ in the summer and a Christmas/New Year dinner.

In 2009 we sang the Hallelujah Chorus in aid of Children in Need.
